Melinda began her career with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 2002 as a Financial Representative Intern. Through her internship experience, she realized the freedom, control, and opportunity a financial representative career offers. Upon graduation from Marquette University, it became clear to Melinda that she would continue in her dedication by becoming a full-time Financial Representative.
Melinda quickly distinguished herself as a leader, successfully achieving Pacesetter 40 as well as the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards. Her hard work and perseverance has led her to manage Cornerstone Financial Group-Oak Creek. In 2009, Melinda became a certified coach and one of an elite group of leaders within Northwestern Mutual to be recognized and accepted into Northwestern Mutual’s Emerging Leaders Program.
As Managing Director, Melinda recruits, trains, develops, mentors, and supports her Financial Representatives and staff while working closely with her clients to build long-term relationships.
Melinda earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Corporation for Long Term Care (CLTC) certifications.
Jim Filipek has been with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since the 1970s. Jim started his career as a Financial Representative through the Internship program, where he was in the Top 5 in the country. After graduating from UW-Parkside, he began his career full time and managed the Racine office from 1986-1999; he returned to private practice to focus on his clients and has recently transitioned from Financial Representative to Financial Advisor.

Aaron Luccas joined Cornerstone Financial Group – Oak Creek as a Financial Representative intern in 2009. He was introduced to Northwestern Mutual by a friend and was immediately attracted to the strength of Northwestern Mutual and the culture of Cornerstone Financial Group. Aaron Luccas has a passion to help others and applies that daily in his career as a Financial Representative. He enjoys sitting down with clients, listening to their goals, and becoming part of their future plans: “I help my clients identify needs and help them fulfill those needs though risk management and wealth accumulation. With enthusiasm, honesty, and persistence, I plan to highlight opportunity and develop success.” . |
